Chatter Matters Communication Camp
An overnight camp for kids who use AAC and up to four of their immediate family members

Applicants will be notified by the end of April, 2025 if they have been selected to attend camp.

IMPORTANT: Responses regarding camp acceptance will be sent via email. Add chattermatterscamp@gmail.com to your safe sender’s list to avoid spam.

Camp cost for each participant is $500.00, which includes: lodging, meals, camp activities and associated supplies (e.g., arts and crafts, bowling, talent show, dance party, adaptive sports, etc.), parent education opportunities, and at least a 2:1 ratio (Campers : Volunteers, i.e. certified and/or licensed working SLPs and/or AAC experts, camp staff, alumni mentors, student volunteers, etc.).

A limited number of needs-based scholarships will be awarded via Variety - the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin.

Please choose one of the following:

I will pay the full amount of the camp's cost myself (i.e., $500 per camper)
I intend to use CLTS Waiver funds to pay for camp
I would like to apply for a needs based scholarship from Variety - the Children's Charity of Wisconsin

If requesting a needs based scholarship, state the amount per camper you are requesting:

$125 per camper - 25% of the camp's cost
$250 per camper - 50% of the camp's cost
$375 per camper - 75% of the camp's cost
$500 per camper - 100% of the camp's cost
